Our response time is very quick! If you would like to go ahead, we will take a secure payment from you and confirm your reservation. If your circumstances change, we shall do our utmost to accommodate any date changes, but please be aware that we are unable to offer any refunds after booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our check in window is from 4pm to 9pm. If you are in a hurry we can always arrange just to take in your luggage and place this in your room for you. With a key to our front door you can then come and go as you please.

We are unfortunately unable to offer secure private parking, but there is plenty of public parking available immediately opposite us. This parking area is used by visitors to our village and attendees at the nearby church. 

We aim to satisfy all tastes! Our “standard” breakfast is a Full English to set you up for the day, but if a lighter option is your choice then that’s fine. Eggs just as you like them. Special dietary requirements accommodated. 

We have a lovely bridal suite for the lucky newly-weds. Brides who require hair/ make-up on the morning of their big day are welcome to have an artist visit them (for a small cover charge), but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate visits from bridesmaids, photographers, florists etc.

We are literally a 3 minute walk from The Old Stables at The Griffin Inn. We are used to hosting the Bride & Groom and members of their family, and work around the timings of your big day to accept your luggage and provide keys for access after your evening reception.

Our rooms are situated on the first floor of the property. We are therefore unfortunately unable to accommodate guests who have mobility difficulties which restrict their ability to use stairs.

Our usual bedding is of the highest quality Hungarian goose-down duvets and pillows, encased in crisp natural cotton. But we can certainly offer you a hypoallergenic alternative on request. 

Although we love dogs, we unfortunately do not accommodate them. We recognise that many potential guests like to enjoy the company of their canine friends whilst travelling, but on balance we have decided in favour of those who would prefer a pet free zone.

We appreciate that flexibility is very important for guests. Our best room rates (only available by booking directly with us) are non-refundable, but our selected online booking partners are able to offer several flexible options. Please see their booking terms for details.
We don’t offer evening dining, but we are able to recommend several nearby pubs and restaurants which have great food. From bar snacks to Michelin star menus, we have a wide selection available.
Whether you book directly with us or with one of our selected online booking partners, you will be asked to reserve your room with a credit/debit card. Payment will be taken on this card before your arrival and at a time consistent with whatever flexible refund option you select. You can settle any “extras” during your stay with either card or cash.
